Tilos is one of the small Dodecanese Islands located between Rhodes and Kos. Tilos is a quite and picturesque island with it’s high mountains and long sandy beaches. It is also popular for it’s herbs.

We arrived into the anchorage shortly after 5.00pm to find it was rather busy, we managed to find a spot slightly further out behind the others.

Once Calista was settled at anchor we lowered the dingy and went ashore with our friends.

The mountains nearby were starting to glow with the setting sun shining onto the ranges.

We walked along the prommande to the far end of the bay then turned around and made our way back.

The long stretch of beach was actually all pebbles not sand as we had expected to see.

Sabine and I found the guys sitting up on the roof deck enjoying an aperol spritz ,and we didn’t hesitate in joining them for a sun downer while enjoying the view of the bay.

After a couple of days it was time to move on, and we set sail to Nisyros Island.
